APTET 2011 Notification by AP TET-Eligibility, Test Pattern and Online Application
The Governemnt of Andhra Pradesh has set the date for Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET 2011-12)
as per the guidelines of CBSE and NCTE. The AP TET 2011 will be conducted on 31st July 2011.
AP TET Notification is likely to be released on or before 20th May 2011. The Director of SCERT
(State Council of Educational Research and Training), Andhra Pradesh will act as Director of TET.
TET is a mandatory examination for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary and high
schools for various subjects. AP TET 2011 will be conducted during June 2011.
Every government is conducting this examination in the lines of CBSE TET for which notification has
already issued. AP Govt also gearing up to conduct the exam with the name of Andhra Pradesh Teacher
Eligibility Test. Following are details of the exam notification, syllabus, question papers and
application procedure for APTET 2011:
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Classes I-V:
Applicants should have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks
and those appearing in final
2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education /
4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) /
2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible. OR
Candidates with BA / B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and
B.Ed qualification can also apply.
2. Classes VI-VIII: Those having B.A. /B.Sc and those appearing in final
2 – year D.Ed. / B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 45 percent marks and passed /
appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent marks and
passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
/ 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed.
(Special Education) with 50 percent in BA or B.Sc.
Exam pattern and Scheme: There will be 2 papers with objective multiple choice questions. Each paper
will consist of 150 questions. These papers are intended for different levels of teaching as
described below:
1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.
2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify
in both the papers.
Syllabus for the CTET: There will be 5 subjects / Sections in Paper I. Each section /
subject will have 30 objective multiple choice type questions carrying
one mark each. Duration of the exam is one and half hours. Following are the papers:
1. Child development and pedagogy
2. Language I (the medium of instruction)
3. Language II (chosen from a list other than language I)
4. Mathematics
5. Environmental studies
Department of School Education OR APPSC might be given with the responsibility of
conducting TET in Andhra Pradesh. The detailed notification will be released
soon and application procedure also will be mentioned along with that.

Schedule of Examination:
1. Paper I: 26-06-2011 (9-30 AM to 11 AM) - For an aspiring teacher for classes I to V.
2. Paper II: 26-06-2011 (12- 30 PM to 2 PM) - For an aspiring teacher for classes VI to VIII.

టీచర్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్(టెట్) పరీక్షకు సంబంధించిన సిలబస్ పూర్తి వివరాలను రాష్ట్ర విద్యా పరిశోధన మండలి(ఎస్సీఈఆర్టీ) వెల్లడించింది. సిలబస్ వివరాలను ప్రత్యేకంగా రూపొందించిన వెబ్సైట్లో పొందుపరిచింది.
టెట్ను రాష్ట్రంలో మొదటిసారి నిర్వహించనున్న నేపథ్యంలో అభ్యర్థుల సౌలభ్యం కోసం ఈ చర్యలు తీసుకున్నట్లు చైర్ పర్సన్ ఆర్.సత్యనారాయణ, ైడెరైక్టర్ శేషుకుమారి తెలిపారు. జూలై 31న నిర్వహించే ఈ పరీక్షకు దాదాపు 5
లక్షల మంది అభ్యర్థులు హాజరవుతారని భావిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. పరీక్ష పూర్తయిన మూడు నుంచి నాలుగు వారాల్లో ఫలితాలను వెల్లడిస్తారు. సిలబస్కు సంబంధించిన పూర్తి వివరాలను www.apscert.org,

మరోవైపు విద్యాహక్కు చట్టం (ఆర్టీఈ), జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యాయ విద్యామండలి జారీ చేసిన మార్గదర్శకాల్లో ఫిజికల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ టీచర్ల(పీఈటీ) అంశాన్ని పేర్కొనలేదు. ఆర్టీఈలో వీరిని పార్ట్టైమ్ ట్రైనర్లుగా పేర్కొన్నారు.
దీంతో పీఈటీలకు టెట్ నిర్వహించాలా? లేదా? అనే అంశంపై సందిగ్ధత నెలకొంది. ఈ అంశంపై ఎన్సీటీఈని సంప్రదించి నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటామని టెట్ కమిటీ సభ్యుడు ఆనందకిషోర్ తెలిపారు.
‘టెట్’ విశేషాలు...
*‘టెట్’ పరీక్ష నోటిఫికేషన్ను ఈనెల 20వ తేదీలోగా జారీ చేయనున్నారు.
* అభ్యర్థులు ఆన్లైన్లోనే దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి. దరఖాస్తు ఫారం ధర రూ. 300.
* ఒకటి నుంచి ఐదో తరగతి వరకు బోధించే వారు పేపరు-1 రాయాలి.
* 6 నుంచి 8వ తరగతి వరకు బోధించే వారు పేపరు-2 రాయాలి.
* భాషా పండితులు కూడా పేపరు-2 రాయాల్సి ఉంటుంది.
* అభ్యర్థుల సౌలభ్యంకోసం పేపరు-1 పరీక్షను తెలుగు, హిందీ, ఉర్దూ, బెంగాలీ, గుజరాతీ, కన్నడ, మరాఠీ, ఒరియా, తమిళం భాషల్లో నిర్వహిస్తారు.
* పేపరు-2 పరీక్షను తెలుగు, ఉర్దూ, హిందీ, కన్నడ, మరాఠీ, ఒరియా, తమిళం, సంస్కృతం భాషల్లో ఉంటుంది.
* {పతి పేపరులో 150 మార్కులకుగాను ఓసీలు 90 మార్కులు (60 శాతం), బీసీలు 75 మార్కులు (50 శాతం), ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, వికలాంగులు 60 మార్కులు (40 శాతం) సాధిస్తేనే పాస్
అయినట్లు పరిగణిస్తారు.
* ఉపాధ్యాయ నియామకాల్లో టెట్ మార్కులకు 20 శాతం, డీఎస్సీ మార్కులకు 80 శాతం వెయిటేజీ ఇస్తారు.
* 2012 జనవరి తరువాత ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాలల్లో బోధించేందుకు డిప్లొమా ఇన్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ (డీఎడ్) అభ్యర్థులే అర్హులు.
* {పాథమిక పాఠశాలల్లో బోధనకు బీఎడ్ అభ్యర్థులకు ఈసారికే పేపరు-1 రాసే అవకాశం కల్పించారు. 2012 జనవరి నుంచి పేపరు-2 మాత్రమే రాయాలి.
